He even shared interesting details about the engagement date as he said that the day they chose was quite auspicious and both families consulted the Nakshatras. There were rumours that Naga Chaitanya's ex-wife Samantha had proposed to Naga Chaitanya on the same date.

He even revealed that he saw Sobhita in Adivi Sesh's film Goodachari and liked her work. He said that Sobhita is a very well-informed girl.
